Baptism
"Baptism is an outward expression of an inward faith." - Watchman Nee
“For you were buried with Christ when you were baptised. And with Him you were raised to new life because you trusted the mighty power of God, who raised Christ from the dead. You were dead because of your sins and because your sinful nature was not yet cut away. Then God made you alive with Christ, for He forgave all our sins. He cancelled the record of the charges against us and took it away by nailing it to the cross.”
Colossians 2:12-14
“This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun!”
II Corinthians 5:17
Baptism signifies the beginning of your journey as a follower of Christ. It serves as a powerful symbol of your decision to walk away from your old ways and embrace a new life guided by faith. Similar to a wedding ring that represents a lifelong commitment, baptism is a public declaration of your dedication to living in alignment with God's will each day.
Baptism is an important step and expression of faith, and if you haven’t been baptised since placing your faith in Christ, then we want to invite you to take that step. Every believer in Jesus should be baptised as a response to placing their faith in him (Acts 2:41).

Baptism is for anyone who has surrendered their life to Jesus Christ. It serves as a public declaration of your commitment to follow Him, expressing your faith and dedication openly. This important step follows salvation through repentance and faith, laying a crucial foundation for the Christian life. Baptism symbolises Christ’s burial and resurrection; by entering the water, we identify with His death on the cross, His burial, and His resurrection.
